Marquette – The YMCA will sponsor Splash Week May 4 through 7. The week will be devoted to promoting water recreation and safety along Marquette’s Lake Superior shoreline.
On Friday, May 6, representatives from the YMCA kayak program, Down Wind Sports, the Marquette Yacht Club and Chop Stix Surf will discuss water sports along the Marquette shoreline from 6 to 7 p.m. in the YMCA lobby. At 7 p.m. in the YMCA lounge, a program on Lake Superior recreational opportunities will be presented.
