Calendar – Music – A Taste of Home Sweet Home Concert – Ticket Sale Deadline – Apr. 18

Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Lake Effect Show Choir will perform its “A Taste of Home Sweet Home” concert on Wednesday, April 20 and Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.

The program includes “I Got the Music in Me,” Queen’s “Somebody to Love,” “We are Family,” Michael Buble’s “Home,” “Bill Bailey Won’t You Please Come Home” and more. Jill Grundstrom is the group’s choreographer and Annette Brown serves as accompanist.

Desserts and hors d’oeuvres, including those with an Upper Peninsula flavor, will be served. Tickets cost $15 and will be sold through Monday, April 18 in Room 102 of the Thomas Fine Arts Building at NMU and at Forsberg Flowers in Marquette.
