Marquette – VAST, formerly Hetrick and Associates Insurance Agency, will host an open house in honor of Bill Hetrick on Friday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 300 S. Front Street, Marquette.
Hetrick will be retiring after 36 years of service with the agency, having joined the agency in 1975 as an insurance agent and was named a partner two years later. During his time at the agency he was a driving force in creating longterm relationships and serving as a mentor, friend and teacher to all of the staff.
Hetrick is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and is a licensed property, casualty, life and health insurance agent. His designations include CIC (certified insurance counselor) and LIC (licensed insurance counselor).
