Marquette – Wheatweaving will be the topic at the Vasa Lodge meeting on Thursday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette.
Midge Waters will speak on the history of about 20 examples, including Swedish wheatweaving, then demonstrate the weaving of a small ornament to participants. The public is invited, and anyone interested in participating should bring a pair of scissors.
Vasa Lodge is open to anyone of Scandinavian heritage and their spouses. For more information, call 226-7273.
