Calendar – Community – Native American Speaker at Medicine Wheel Academy – Mar. 31

Marquette – Northern Michigan University will mark the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day and celebrate Women’s History Month with a series of March activities. This year’s theme is “Our History is Our Strength.”

Native American Dr. Tina Cooper will speak as part of the Medicine Wheel Academy at NMU on Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in Mead Auditorium.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 227-1554.
