Marquette – The Peter White Public Library will host a screening of the animated feature film “How To Train Your Dragon” on Saturday, March 5 at 2 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.
This 2010 animated film, set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, is based on the book by Cressida Cowell. An action comedy, the movie tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding traditions of heroic dragon slayers. “How To Train Your Dragon” has been nominated for two Academy Awards, is rated PG and runs for 98 minutes.
This event is part of the Midwinter Storytelling Festival which runs through March and features events that celebrate the art of the well told tale. For more information call the Peter White Public Library at 226-4323 or visit www.pwpl.info.
