Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Readers Theater will meet for a reading of two one-act plays from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean on Tuesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the library.
The featured script by American playwright Edward Albee is “Counting the Ways,” a series of blackout sketches, where He and She probe into the nature of their love for one another.
Englishman Noel Coward’s one act to be read is “Still Life,” in which, upon meeting a stranger in a railway station, a woman is tempted to cheat on her husband.
Peter White Public Library Readers Theater is a group of adults who are interested in drama and are willing and able to read a scripted role. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month to read plays for enjoyment. New members are always welcome.
