Marquette – The Great Lakes Center for Youth Development will offer a workshop designed to help nonprofits leaders, staff and volunteers strengthen their organizations and ability to benefit their communities.
Amy Quinn, GLCYD vice president, will present “Power Boards – It’s the New Normal” on Wednesday, February 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. The workshop will build on the fact that organizations are taking the recruitment and work of volunteer board members more seriously, and that board members are seriously drawn to involvement in a mission which truly resonates with them.
