Marquette – The city of Marquette Sister City Advisory Committee will be sending a delegation to Higashiomi, Japan, from October 13 to 24. An informational meeting will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 11 a.m. in Workshop 4 of the Marquette Arts and Culture Center in Peter White Public Library.
While in Japan, delegates will live with a host family and visit sites of interest in Higashiomi and the surrounding area. The $2,500 trip cost includes air fare, ground transportation and official delegation events, and is the responsibility of each delegate.
