Ishpeming – Country Lanes Entertainment Center will host a Safe Kids Day on Wednesday, June 1 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 1011 North Road, Ishpeming.
The Safe Assured Child ID System will be available, featuring a mini-CD with fingerprints, photograph, and video and audio providing child’s voice. Bike helmet checks will be offered, and bike helmets will be provided if child’s helmet is inadequate or he or she does not have one.
Featured will be an inflatable bounce house, double lane slide, Airborne Adventure and Rescue Heroes toddler play area, gift bags and a prize wheel. Members of the Ishpeming Fire Department will be on hand with a fire truck.
Raffle tickets prizes include a Sony Playstation 3 bundle with basketball game, an iPod, Country Village Gift packages and more. Any event proceeds will benefit the Ishpeming Fire Department.
