Marquette – Award-winning storyteller Yvonne Healy will present a workshop and a performance Saturday, February 12 at the Peter White Public Library.
Healy will lead an Introduction to Storytelling workshop for age 12 and older from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Participants will learn about the art of storytelling, improve performing skills and develop their innate skills through an approach combining theater games and interaction.
At 7 p.m., Healy will present “Blarney: Irish Stories,” Healy’s award-winning storytelling performance, with renditions of strange Irish legends, outrageous family lore and thought provoking participatory tales.
