Marquette – The Business Book Review, a monthly book talk group, will meet on Tuesday, February 1 at 9:15 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Discussion leader Dar Shepherd will present a 45 minute overview of the book “Getting Them to Give a Damn” by Eric Chester. The book focuses on how to hire, train, manage, and motivate a workforce of 16 to 24-year-olds that won’t blindly conform to traditional standards and time-honored company policies and standards.
The Business Book Review meets on the first Tuesday morning of each month at the Peter White Public Library for a short discussion of the latest in business writing. The meetings are open to the public and no admission is charged.
