Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum in Marquette will host its 10th annual Culinary Journey on Sunday, January 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. The museum will be closed to the public that day in order to prepare for the event.
This adults-only fundraiser features culinary creations from around the world by some of the region’s most talented chefs, plus an ample selection of fine wines along with live music from “SixString.”
Participating establishments include: The Vierling Restaurant and Marquette Harbor Brewery; Union Grill; The Landmark Inn; The Brownstone Inn; Rubaiyat; Sai Uwa; Midtown Bakery; Tamaki and Tea at Northern Michigan University; University Dining Services; NMU Hospitality Program; Babycakes Muffin Company; Marquette Baking Company; Dead River Coffee Roasters; Donckers Candies and Gifts; and the Marquette Food Co-op. Wines will be provided by Pike Distributing, and flowers will be provided by Garden Bouquet
Tickets cost $60 each or $100 per couple, and are available at the children’s museum store or by calling 226-3911. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
