Ishpeming – The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club will meet on Sunday, January 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cliff Shaft Mine Museum, 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming.
Dave and Sue Midkiff of Little Chute, Wisconsin will provide an overview of their experiences in collecting thunder eggs and other mineral in Wisconsin. They will display thunder eggs they found and review how they were found.
A silent auction of mineral specimens and a business meeting will follow the program. Geodes will be highlighted, and club members will display samples from their collections.
