Houghton – An Ancient Artifacts program will be offered on Thursday, January 20 at 7 p.m. at Portage Lake Public Library in Houghton.
Have you found what could be a prehistoric, man made artifact? Would you like to see and discuss stones modified by ancient people? The Copper Country Contingent of The Ancient Artifact Preservation Society
invites all to an evening of sharing, inspection and discussion of prehistoric evidence left by ancient people.
Please bring artifacts that you may have, or just your interest in what has been found by others. Any free will donations will go toward the purchase of the 28.5 ton float copper to be the centerpiece of the future AAPS museum.
