Marquette – The 12th annual First Nations Food Taster will be held on Friday, November 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Jacobetti Complex at NMU.
It will feature contemporary dishes, along with qualifying recipes from the Decolonizing Diet Project, which focuses on foods eaten by Native Americans in the Great Lakes region prior to colonization.
Advance tickets are $5 for NMU students and $12 for the general public. Tickets purchased at the door are $7 and $15, respectively. For ticket and other information, visit www.nmu.edu/cnas.
