Marquette – A presentation on Books for Africa, an organization committed to gathering and sending millions of books to African peoples, will be offered on Friday, October 9 place at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
There will be refreshments and music.
Most African children who attend school have never owned a book of their own. In many classrooms, 10 to 20 students share one textbook. The children cherish books.
