Marquette Northern Michigan University will celebrate Native American Heritage month in November with many events.
There will be a special viewing of video vignettes from the Zaagkii (Wings and Seeds) project on Tuesday, November 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Marquette Commons. The project was designed to protect natural pollinators, propagate native plants and restore healthy habitat.
