Calendar – Education – The Only Good Indian Film Showing – Nov. 9

Marquette – Northern Michigan University will celebrate Native American Heritage month in November with many events.

The film “The Only Good Indian” will be screened on Tuesday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall Room 103. The film is set in Kansas during the early 1900s and follows a teenage Native American boy who is taken from his family and forced to attend a distant Indian “training” school. When he runs away he is chased by a bounty hunter.
