Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre is being converted into a Haunted Theatre for the public to enjoy for Halloween Friday, October 29 through Sunday, October 31. A family-friendly version is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Brave souls should plan on attending from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The guided tours will start in the lobby
The full technical resources of the facility—from lighting to props to costumes—are being used in the effort. A large cast and crew composed of NMU students and Marquette community members are also involved in the project.
Cash-only tickets will be sold at the door. Prices are $5 for NMU students and children and $10 for adults. There is a $15 family rate for those attending the earlier performances. Parental supervision is required for children 7 and younger.
The First Nighters Advisory Board is sponsoring the event as a fundraiser. For more information, call 227-2082.
