Iron Mountain – The 15th Annual Pet Blessing and Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday, October 4 at 1 p.m. CDT on the steps of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 221 West B Street in Iron Mountain.
The service will benefit the Spring Lake Animal Shelter, with participants bringing items for the shelter, in exchange for the pet blessing. There is a need for non-clumping cat litter, kitten food, cleaning supplies and monetary donations.
All pets and their companions are welcome. In past years, all kinds of animals have been blessed, including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, lizards, and parrots.
