Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Association for the Education of Young Children will sponsor its annual conference on Saturday, October 9 from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
The conference is geared toward preschool and elementary school teachers, family child care providers, child care center staff, elementary school support staff, resource and referral staff and parents. Featured speaker will be early childhood consultant Dan Hodgins.
There is a $40 per person registration fee for UPAEYC members, $50 for others, which includes lunch. For a full day of attendance, .5 SB-CEUs will be offered for an additional fee. For more information, or to register, e-mail Judy Place at jplace@nmu.edu or call her at 226-9904.
