Marquette – A free professional development conference for Northern Michigan University graduate students will be held on Friday, October 8 from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center at NMU.
Seminar topics will include techniques to engage large student populations with multiple learning styles, job interviews, resume and portfolio building, dining etiquette, professional adaptability, dealing with behavior problems in the classroom, leadership, grant writing, academic publishing and developing professional relationships.
