Marquette – Eddie Huang, whose “Fresh Off the Boat” memoir details his life as the son of Taiwanese-Chinese immigrants creating his own America, will give a presentation on Wednesday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. in 1100 Jamrich Hall at Northern Michigan University.
Huang also is a chef, owner of BaoHaus Restaurant in New York City and former lawyer. His talk at NMU will address cultural diversity and awareness, entrepreneurship and more.
Admission is free to NMU students with an ID and $2 for the general public. Huang’s appearance is sponsored by Platform Personalities and the student activity fee.
