Sands – The Sands Model Airplane Club will host a Fun Fly on Saturday, September 18 at the SMAC Field, located on the west side of M-553, five miles south of the County Road 480 and M-553 Intersection. Signs will be posted.
Registration is at 8 a.m. A pilot’s meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Pilots are required to have current AMA membership to fly. Turbines are welcome.
Primitive campsites will be available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Enjoy the new 60ft. x 800ft runway.
