Calendar – Community – People’s Festival – July 31-Aug. 1

Marquette – The third annual People’s Festival will be held Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 at Shiras Park in Marquette. Festival hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

This is Marquette’s version of an Earth Day festival, showcasing earth friendly, holistic, organic and natural practices. Featured will be information booths on healthy living, massages, holistic practitioners, and recreation, music and art for a healthy mind and spirit. Healthy food will be available for purchase from the Dancing Crane Farms mobile kitchen.

Musical acts will include Johnny Bryant, Doonbali, Toby Christensen, Trailor Hitch, Marbin and more.
