Ishpeming – The Friends of the Carnegie Public Library in Ishpeming will sponsor its first book sale of the season on Saturday, September 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the library's Margaret Dundon Reading Room.
Paperback books cost 25 cents and hardcovers are 50 cents.
Future sales are scheduled for the first Saturdays of October and November.
Books may be donated any time during regular library hours. Works of fiction and nonfiction are solicited, as well as children's books. Certain items are not accepted, so check with a librarian when bringing in used books.
