Republic – The Republic Area Historical Society will present a program by the Rev. Lee and Erika Boleman on the Inupiat Eskimo culture and lifestyle on Tuesday, June 22 at 7 p.m. at Republic Township Hall.
The Bolemans spent five years in Alaska in various communities. A year of that time was spent among the Inupiat people of Shishmaref, an island in the Chukchi Sea.
Coffee and refreshments will be served following the program. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted.
