Marquette – Two Freedom Writers, Sharaud Moore and Maria Reyes, will offer a presentation on movement born with a teacher's simple notion to inspire young, underprivileged students to pick up pens instead of guns.
The presentation will be on Monday, September 28 at 7 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at NMU.
The event is free to NMU students with ID and $2 for the general public.
