Marquette – The Shiras Planetarium, located in the rear of Marquette Senior High School, will present the program “Stars of Autumn and Icy Worlds” on Monday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m.
The program begins with a short program, “Stars of Autumn” in which you will learn about the reason for the seasons, meteor showers, the moon and the stories behind the constellations of fall.
The feature program, “Icy Worlds” will explain the formation of our solar system and then explore some of the most interesting worlds we know of…icy worlds of the outer solar system. Come and see the science and intrigue these little worlds hold.
Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens. Please no unattended children due to noise concerns.
