Marquette – The Second City Comedy Group will perform on Saturday, September 13 at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. in the Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
Tickets cost $2 for NMU students, $5 for the general public, and are available from EZ Ticket outlets at the Superior Dome, Forest Roberts Theatre, TCF Bank in the University Center and the Vista Theater Thrift Shop in Negaunee.
Second City was established in the 1950s by a group of students from the University of Chicago. The group became more popular when a few alumni became featured performers on “Saturday Night Live.” Second City is located in Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and Los Angeles and known for actors such as Mike Myers, Bill Murray and John Belushi.
