Marquette – The Kiwanis Club of Marquette will sponsor its annual chicken barbeque on Sunday, June 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.
Live entertainment will be provided by Emily McGlone. Tickets cost $8 for adults, $6 for children and may be purchased from any club member or at the YMCA of Marquette County or Lutey’s Flower Shop in Marquette.
Proceeds are used to support more than 60 community projects and agencies, including Bay Cliff Health Camp, the U.P. Children’s Museum, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Noquemanon ski race, the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans and the Salvation Army. To purchase tickets, or for information about Kiwanis Club membership, call 315-7222.
