Amasa – Amasa’s 13th Annual Heritage Day will be held on Monday, May 31 from noon to 3 p.m. on the museum grounds on Pine Street in Amasa. The summer opening of the museum will also take place.
The concession stand will be open at 10 a.m. for bars and coffee. A flag raising is the opener at noon following the traditional ceremonies at the Hematite Cemetery. Food provided includes hot dogs, brats, BBQ and cotton candy.
There will be music, games, raffles and museum tours throughout the day, and North Country Cruisers will have their antique cars on display. Vendors and crafts people are welcome to set up free of charge on blocked off Pine Street.
