Marquette – The Your Mind Matters Film Festival will feature “The Soloist” on Wednesday, May 26 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
The film tells the true story of musical prodigy Nathaniel Ayers, who dropped out of Julliard after developing schizophrenia and became a homeless musician on the streets of Los Angeles. A reporter develops a close relationship with the troubled but gifted artist. Rated PG-13.
