Marquette – The Marquette Male Chorus will present their Spring Concert of North American Folk Music, “From Fiddles to Foster,” on Friday, May 7 and Saturday May 8 at 7:30 p.m. each evening at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1700 West Fair Avenue in Marquette.
The concert features arrangements of traditional music including love songs, work songs, spirituals and selections from the Aaron Copland’s “Old American Songs” series. The chorus is under the direction of Wayne Hanmer and accompanied by Lynne Lanczy.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for seniors and children under 12 and available at the door.
