Marquette – The Peter White Public Library will host a community jam session on Sunday, December 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Community Room.
The session will begin with a special screening of the new, 60-minute documentary, “Always Been a Rambler.” The film celebrates 50 years of the New Lost City Ramblers, stars of the ’60s folk revival, who inspired younger musicians from Bob Dylan to Bela Fleck to explore American traditional music.
The jam session begins at 3 p.m. Bring your guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, or sing along to old time folk music tunes by Peter, Paul and Mary, the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and others.
