Marquette – All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Ventures, and Scout alumni are invited to attend the Century of Values Tour on Monday, August 31 at 2 p.m. in the parking lot of First United Methodist Church, 111 E. Ridge Street in Marquette.
The Boy Scouts will celebrate their 100th Anniversary in 2010, and to prepare for the celebration, a group of Detroit Area Scout leaders is visiting all of the 300 councils in the lower 48 states in an RV covered with murals depicting the history of Scouting. They will present a print of the mural and there will be presentations on the early history of Scouting in the U.P.
