Marquette – “Collars for a Cause” Pet Adoption Fair will be held on Wednesday, August 26 from noon to 5 p.m. at Fox Marquette on US 41 in Marquette.
Please help an animal in need. Collars for a Cause is a free, offsite pet adoption fair that helps animals in need of a loving family and good home, find one.
In addition to finding good homes for animals, “Collars for a Cause” helps raise money for the Marquette County Humane Society. The event is being brought to the community by Fox Marquette and Charter Media.
The Marquette County Humane Society will be bringing animals that need homes to Fox Marquette. In return, Fox Marquette will be paying the basic adoption fees of all animals adopted from the Marquette County Humane Society. People interested in adopting a pet must stop by Fox Marquette to see the animals and obtain an Adoption Voucher.
There will be opportunities to win prizes for both you and your pets. Commemorative “Collars for a Cause” dog collars are available in exchange for donations to the Marquette County Humane Society.
