Marquette – St. Christopher's Preschool and Parish in Marquette Township will sponsor a Celebrate Childhood community rummage and bake sale Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day in the church hall.
A $3 bag sale will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the non-profit, non-denominational preschool.
Items for sale will include furniture, kitchen and household items, toys, bikes, DVDs, CDs, books, maternity clothes, and children's clothing. Homemade baked goods and Jilbert ice cream will also be available.
A Celebrate Childhood Corner outside the church hall will offer supervised children's activities. A giraffe bounce house will be available at a cost of 50 cents per turn or $2 for unlimited turns each day. A free supervised craft corner will also be available.
