Marquette – The MooseWood Nature Center will offer a Junior Moose program, “Scales, Scutes and Skin,” on Saturday, August 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Moosewood, in the former Shiras Pool building at Presque Isle Park in Marquette.
Herpetologist Amanda Grifka will provide facts about snakes, turtles and frogs, including their behaviors, habitat and diet.
Participants may meet and handle MooseWood's friendly, harmless snakes.
