Marquette – Bethel Baptist Church, 829 Grove Street in Marquette, will host a Neighborhood Night Out event on Wednesday, August 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the church parking lot.
Featured will be family and youth games, music, snacks, an antique fire truck and Ham radio operators.
Information will be presented by the Marquette fire and police departments with Sparky the Fire Dog, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources with Smokey the Bear, the Red Cross, AMCAB, Marquette General Health Systems and MediRide.
Youth activities will include face painting, duck pond, a dice race, fishing pond, playground and inflatable games. Door prizes will be awarded.
