Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a lecture on the 10th Mountain Division during World War II on Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in Room C108 of the Superior Dome.
World War II veteran Walter Cook will use photos and literature to share the significance of the 10th Mountain Division, as well as a little history of this military unit made of skiers, mountaineers, college students and other outdoors people.
Cost is $4 for NCLL members, $7 for others. Registration deadline is Friday; call Jim Matteson at 228-4156.
