Marquette -Professor and journalist James McCommons will discuss his new book “Waiting on a Train: The Embattled Future of Passenger Rail Service” on Tuesday, February 23 at 7 p.m. at Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
The book is equal parts travel journal, personal memoir, and investigative reporting. McCommons writes about the year he rode trains across America interviewing the people who ride, work and control the Amtrak rail system.
