Marquette – The Peter White Public Library will host its seventh annual Bollywood Night on Friday, February 12 at at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
The evening will feature a film introduced by Jaspal Singh, professor of South Asian film and literature at Northern Michigan University. The movie is a light romance focusing on the meaning of love in modern times by contrasting the courtship stories of a modern couple and a couple from the past.
Savory South Asian snacks prepared by the Rubaiyat will be served during the intermission. The evening will also feature a performance by Marquette’s belly dancing troupe, Beladinas.
