Marquette – Northern Michigan University will present the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning rock musical “Rent” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, February 16 to 20, with a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday at Forest Roberts Theatre.
“Rent” is based on Puccini’s opera “La Boheme” and tells the tale of love and loyalty among friends living the Bohemian life in New York City’s East Village as they deal with loss, AIDS and modern day life.
Tickets cost $10 for NMU students, $15 for the public, and are available at any NMU EZ Tickets outlet, and at the theater box office from 1 to 5 p.m. weekdays. For information, call 227-2553.
