Marquette – Lake Superior Youth Theatre will offer Technical Theatre Summer Camp Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Marquette Arts and Culture Center on the lower level of the Peter White Public Library.
Each day for ages 8 to 18 will be able to learn a variety of backstage jobs and training. Offerings included in the camp include design, costuming, stage make-up, stage painting techniques, backstage safety and training, properties design, sound design, set design, lighting design, special effects and stage management. The camp will conclude with a Tech Olympics in which students will demonstrate their abilities to the public on Friday at 5 p.m.
