Negaunee – The Negaunee City Band will perform its free weekly concert on Wednesday, August 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Performing Arts Facility at the east end of Iron Street.
Director Keith Lawson has selected “Amparito Roca,” “Hope Starts Here,” “From Tropic to Tropic,” “St. Louis Blues” and Sousa's “The Pride of the Wolverines” as marches for the evening.
Other numbers will include “American Riversongs,” “Chica Bum,” “Billy Joel in Concert,” “A Leroy Anderson Portrait,” “The Sound of Music” and “Down by the Riverside.”
The concert will end with the band's signature number, “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.”
