Marquette – MooseWood Nature Center will offer an owl hike on Thursday, January 15 at 6 p.m.
Participants will meet at the center in the Shiras Pool building at Presque Isle Park and car pool to the site.
The hike is appropriate for ages 6 and older and may be canceled if weather is inclement.
Participants will learn about the species of owls found year round in the Upper Peninsula, such as the barred owl, or visitors, like the snowy owl.
This event is free for MooseWood members, $5 per person or $10 per family for others.
