Marquette – The Great Lakes Health Environment Action League (HEAL) invites the public to join local health professionals and professors for brief presentations, a question and answer session and tasty soup at a forum “Your Water, Your Health,” on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Marquette Federated Women's Clubhouse, 104 W Ridge Street in Marquette.
Panelists will include: Scott Emerson MD, Lisa Long MD, Dr. Allan Olson DO, Clayton Peimer MD, Gail Griffith PhD and Pish Cianciolo PhD.
Presentations and discussions will cover toxins in water, risks from chronic exposure, industry and mining water quality issues, our fresh water future, and more.
