Marquette – The Friends of Peter White Public Library will sponsor a used book sale Thursday through Sunday, January 28 through 31 in the library’s Community Room.
There is a $5 admission charge on Thursday; admission is free all other days. Sale hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Books will be sold for $2 a bag on Sunday.
A wide selection of paperback and hardback books for children and adults as well as magazines, audio tapes, and video tapes will be available, with most items priced between 50 cents and $2. A silent auction will be held for a few select items.
Donations of sale items should be dropped off at least two days in advance at the desk on the library’s main floor. Proceeds from the sale will be used to help support library programs and collections. For more information call Claire Rose at 228-7434 or visit www.pwpl.info.
